OSU vs Michigan FUNdraiser for North Coast Rotary Foundation

Use the link above to support the North Coast Rotary FUNdraiser football squares for the Michigan vs. OSU game.

THE NUMBERS FOR THE FOOTBALL SQUARES WILL BE SELECTED WHEN THE GRID IS FILLED.

How it works:

Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is OSU 17 – Michigan 14, then the winning square is the one with an OSU number of 7, and a Michigan number of 4.

Since this is a Fund Raiser, 50% of the proceeds will go to North Coast Rotary Foundation and the other 50% will be distributed among the participants with the winning square(s) each quarter.

How to Pay:

Payment can be made by the following:

Venmo to: Larry-calabrese-2

Check: Mail to North Coast Rotary Foundation, PO Box 212, Avon Lake, Ohio 44012

Cash at Rotary meetings.

North Coast Rotary will also have, on-hand, a collection trailer that is used for collecting used medical equipment and supplies. The equipment and supplies collected are ultimately sent to needy countries throughout the world. As an example, if you have an old walker, or a pair of crutches, or even the likes of a no-longer used knee or ankle brace, please bring them to the Pizza Bake-Off. You will be doing a great service and you’ll likely clear something out of your closet that you’ve been meaning to get rid of anyways. Additionally, if you have something too large, to be dropped off (i.e. a hospital bed), alternate arrangements can be made to have the medical equipment picked up from your residence.

Sip & Support

Thanks to Sprenger, The Wine Room, our sponsors and over eighty guests the North Coast Rotary Sip & Support Wine Tasting was a great success!  The event fell on “National Wine Day” and was supported by eleven distributors with 62 different wine labels.  In addition to the unlimited wine sampling, guests purchased many bottles of wine with discounts from The Wine Room.  Sprenger Towne Center generously donated their space, tables, chairs, dining services and more. Sprenger Manager and Rotarian Annie Naumann worked the setup and takedown.  The event was coordinated by The Wine Room co-owner and Rotarian, Pete Sandrev, with guests enjoying gourmet appetizers prepared by Chef Jim Smith. A date has already been set for next year’s event which promises to be even bigger and better!
