Use the link above to support the North Coast Rotary FUNdraiser football squares for the Michigan vs. OSU game.
How it works:
Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is OSU 17 – Michigan 14, then the winning square is the one with an OSU number of 7, and a Michigan number of 4.
Since this is a Fund Raiser, 50% of the proceeds will go to North Coast Rotary Foundation and the other 50% will be distributed among the participants with the winning square(s) each quarter.
How to Pay:
Payment can be made by the following:
Venmo to: Larry-calabrese-2
Check: Mail to North Coast Rotary Foundation, PO Box 212, Avon Lake, Ohio 44012
Cash at Rotary meetings.
Winnings Breakdown for Squares
North Coast Rotary Foundation uses the funds received to support youth and community initiatives. These include scholarships, essay contest and speech contest prizes, youth leadership programs, library storybook trail projects, donations to Community Resource Services families in need and more. The 14th Homecoming Great Pizza Bake-Off ended yesterday just in time for the big game!
Pizzeria winners were ROMEO’s Peoples’ Choice (Overall Favorite); MASTER PIZZA Pro’s Choice; PIZZA HUT for Best Sauce; DOMINO’S for Best Pepperoni and OLD SCHOOL for Best Specialty pizza.

Rotarians, Key Club members, Interact Club members and Avon Lake school staff worked together to provide a welcoming environment for several hundred guests to enjoy samples of pizza, raffles and kids fun – facepainting and more.
A big thank you to our Foundation’s main sponsors: Ford Motor Company, Peter & Co. Jewelers, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, Brian Kyles Landscapes of Distinction, Buckeye Bank and Carol Murphy of Keller Williams Realty.
Funds raised from this event will support scholarships, youth and community initiatives.
North Coast Rotary thanks the Avon School Administration – Ben Hodge, Kristina Buller, and Rob Woods; the Avon Music Boosters; and Avon students, families and friends for your support at North Coast Rotary’s Great Pizza Bake-Off!
Everyone seemed to enjoy the varied pizza samples from Cafe Piccolo, Donatos, D’Tutanelli’s, Marco’s, Masters, Neechi’s and Pizza Hut and especially the generously donated donuts from Peace, Love and Little Donuts.
Funds raised will be used for multiple youth initiatives including leadership seminars, speech and writing contests, international youth exchange, scholarships and other programs.

North Coast Rotary will also have, on-hand, a collection trailer that is used for collecting used medical equipment and supplies. The equipment and supplies collected are ultimately sent to needy countries throughout the world. As an example, if you have an old walker, or a pair of crutches, or even the likes of a no-longer used knee or ankle brace, please bring them to the Pizza Bake-Off. You will be doing a great service and you’ll likely clear something out of your closet that you’ve been meaning to get rid of anyways. Additionally, if you have something too large, to be dropped off (i.e. a hospital bed), alternate arrangements can be made to have the medical equipment picked up from your residence.
Come sample over 50 wines and enjoy gourmet appetizers on Saturday February 9th from 4 PM to 7 PM at Sprenger Towne Center, 500 Community Drive, Avon Lake, Ohio. Net proceeds benefit the North Coast Rotary Foundation, supporting youth initiatives and local and regional projects.
