Interact – Youth Service Organization

This 2021-2022 school year, forty Brookside High School students joined the Interact club to work on a variety of service projects.  Interact Advisor V. Rion attributed the Club’s success to its Officers saying, “They are engaged, demonstrate leadership, are committed to service for others and work very well together.”  Reporting out at the North Coast Rotary meeting, each Officer highlighted specific projects. Teacher recognition, candy for the military, cards for nursing home residents, holiday baskets for those in need and a reading project for the whole district were just a few of the service initiatives. North Coast Rotary congratulated the Officers and presented Certificates of Interact Leadership to President Leah Musall, Vice President Chase Holm, Secretary Alex Rion, Treasurer Liv Strohsack, and Representatives Joe DeLuca and Nura Afaneh. Most of the officers are seniors, but Alex and Joe plan to return next year to help lead the club with another year of Service.
