Collection areas also include: Good Neighbor Thrift Shop, First Federal Lakewood Avon Lake Branch, French Creek Family Y, the Domonkas Library – Sheffield Lake, Avon Lake Public Library, and Crushers Stadium.

Several thousand blankets have been donated to organizations in our region, thanks to Rotarians, friends and donors from the community. New recipients include Harrison Cultural Centre and Pathways Enrichment Centre. Our focus continues to be needs in our northern Ohio area.

However as part of our Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad initiative, several years ago, we facilitated the transfer of 800 imperfect blankets from a manufacturer in the Columbus area, to Ukraine and Belize!

North Coast Rotary Foundation has also received generous financial donations towards this program from the Community Foundation of Lorain County and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 431.
