Thank you Sprenger Health Care Towne Center!
At our Rotary on the Road meeting we learned about the Towne Center Community Campus – Avenue Assisted Living; Commons Independent Living and the new Parkway Memory Care Assisted Living. As Anne Naumann explained, Sprenger keeps safety and continuity of care in mind providing these multiple levels of care. Parkway was developed to optimize quality of life and encourage residents to maintain a healthy level of activity. As we toured we saw residents enjoying the natural light in the atrium, wide hallways and spacious accommodations. Special thanks to Chef Jim Smith for his delicious made-to-order omelette (and more) breakfast.

Sprenger Health Care Towne Center has been a partner with North Coast Rotary. They provide our weekly meeting space and have donated desserts for our Pizza Bake-Off fundraisers. Sprenger Towne Center hosts our premiere fundraiser – Sip & Support Wine Tasting in February providing gourmet appetizers and desserts to accompany the wine selections.
Thank you Sprenger Health Care for your support!

Already Helping – Welcome New Member Joan Leibacher
Allen Porter inducted Joan Leibacher into the club. (President John Crooks and Past President Jinnyn Tata will serve her as her mentors.)
Joan worked for Sprenger Healthcare for ten years. In April of this year, she started her own home healthcare business, ACC Adult Home Care located in Avon. Her business assists individuals in their homes with light housekeeping, shopping, errands, etc. Joan lives in Lorain with her husband, Jason, and two children. Joan is very involved in giving back especially through her church. For Rotary, she has already contributed a box for the Children of Chinandega project. Thanks, Joan!
Welcome New Member William Rutger
Membership Chairman Allen Porter inducted William Rutger, the new director of Avon Lake Public Library, into North Coast Rotary Club. William grew up in the Sandusky area where his parents operate a native wildlife rescue facility. He lives in Milan, and has three children. William likes the idea that North Coast Rotary serves more than one community.
